Albir is a pretty coastal resort
sandwiched between the historic market town of Altea, and
Benidorm, the party capital of the Costa Blanca coastline.
|
| The
area has been developed within strict building codes which
limits building height, and the atmosphere through out centres
on relaxed cafe-culture living, containing more than sixty
bars and restuarants catering for all culinary tastes. For
self-catering preferences, Albir has five large supermarkets
- two within yards of the Font Rotja apartments - that are
highly stocked at reasonable prices. |
|
 |
Just a two minute leisurely walk from
the apartment is Avinguda de l'Albir, the main eating and shopping
in the town...
Littered with restaurants, roadside cafes, delicatessens and coffee
shops, the Avinguda de l'Albir winds casually down to the seafront
and a smart pedestrian promenade that fringes the blue flag shingle
beach and runs the length of Albir up to Altea Marina. |
 |
More restaurants and cafes line this route, attracting
diners with stunning sea and coastal views and a warm, relaxed
atmosphere.
Evening entertainment in Albir is available in a number of hotels
that advertise a variety of shows which everyone is invited to
enjoy, but livelier activities are in abundance in surrounding,
easily accessible resorts, such as Benidorm, which is just 3k
away. |
 |
The bus stops outside the Font Rotja apartments
and runs every twenty minutes to all local town. A taxi rank
is situated next to the bus stop.
|
Terra Mitica theme park is another popular attraction to
the area, offering many thrill rides as part of a fun-filled
day out for all the family. |
